Tavasi was established and operated by Maple Rise Property, LLC which
is owned by seven individuals:
- Larry Carter, MHA: Owner/Founder/Executive Director of Logan River Academy. Prior
to opening LRA he worked in various leadership roles in healthcare
and behavioral health organizations. He currently
serves on the Board of Directors for Logan Regional Hospital.
- Jeff
Smith, MPA: Owner/Founder/Operations Director of Logan River
Academy. Prior to opening LRA he worked his way from a
directcare staff to CEO of a large residential treatment center
in Utah. Jeff has over 20 years experience in residentil treatment
and currently serves as the NATSAP – Utah Chapter President. He also
serves on the Licensing Board for the Utah Department of Human Services.
- Mark
Peterson, MPA: Owner/Founder/Student Services Director of Logan
River Academy. Prior to opening LRA he worked as the Residential
Director of a large residential treatment center in Utah.
- Lori
Connin: Owner/Founder/Financial Services Director of Logan River
Academy. Prior to opening LRA she worked for over 30 years experience
in finance and business operations of treatment facilities.
- Robert
Crist, MD: Owner/Founder/Medical Director of Logan River Academy.
Dr. Crist is a pioneer in the residential treatment field and has
been a the founder and medical director of multiple programs.

Kirk
Farmer, MS Academic Director of Logan River Academy. Prior to
moving to Logan River Academy Kirk worked for over 15 years as a Supervising
Teach er at a residential treatment program. He currently sits
on the Utah State Education Accreditation Board.
- Craig Rodabough, LMFT. Craig is the Director at Tavasi and as such will be involved in the
day to day operations. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist and has 17 years of experience working with youth in various
mental health settings. Prior to opening Tavasi, he was the
Clinical Services Director at Logan River Academy. He
currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association
of Therapeutic Schools and Programs and previously served on the Board
for the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
